Lockton Hong Kong wins FHKI’s Industry Cares for second time

For the second year in a row, Lockton Hong Kong has been awarded FHKI’s Outstanding Caring Award - Industry Cares 2018 for SMEs. A ceremony was held on 18 September. The company was presented a certificate for its effort in fulfilling Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Lockton Hong Kong has its CSR team reformed in 2017 and has taken initiatives to care for the community aiming to provide more volunteer opportunities and promote a greener lifestyle among Associates. The team has been exploring new ways to serve and help those in need especially children and the disabled. Last year, the company arranged a charity sale and a service day which successfully gathered its associates and partners together to support families of young patients and those from children’s homes. The team’s runners also took part in fundraising competitions from 10km race to full marathon. Their goal was to help those charities and promote disability inclusion.

"Our team has done a great job. We are so excited and honoured to be awarded again. My sincere gratitude to the team and our partners for all efforts and commitments involved," wrote Irene Tong, Deputy CEO of Lockton Hong Kong.

It has been a strong year for Lockton Hong Kong both in terms of business and charity work. The award recognized the company’s culture of giving back and the team would definitely try to go further and make our community better.
